Faith in my Follies

There's a show coming up on December 2nd at our friend Joven's house. I believe the address is 417 high street, though please forgive me if I change that in a later editing of this post, having found an alternate reality for my understanding of those digits. Because we mostly play with bands that are from out of town-ish, expect us to probably be playing first, realistically at seven p.m. sharp. We will be like the mouth lion of heaven's gate opened.

I've been barricaded in the room recording for the new album. Getting all of the boring stuff- guitars, keyboards, basses, out of the way so I can get to the good stuff like shouting and throwing cups. My unfortunate downstairs neighbor (an alternate - the previously music-preventing one has gone to Africa) came up and said that my take of stomping on bubblewrap in the kitchen with loafers had shattered glass in her kitchen, such was the magnitude of my stompline. Fortunately, the neighbors and complaints only typically emerge upthestairs after I've finished with recording the track, I then get to say 'sorry, I'm done now'.

Expect greatness! "Colossuses" has been deemed finished and is on its way to the reproducers; Jamie and I are driving to pick it up on the 29th in San Francisco: fresh and clean-ready for our show and otherwist distribution. And if there's further want for Colossuses = dispersal amongst the ether.

And its December nearly and I'll be done with this new album before the end of it! We're going to find some winter and capture it.

Oh, She Will Appear When You Least Expect It

This Saturday James Rabbit it playing a show at a house during a party. The show is at 412 Market Street (behind 410 Market Street). Market Street is just off of Water Street, which is just above downtown. The show begins at around 7 p.m. and the other bands are from out of town, so if you want to see our well-practiced and synchronized antics you should arrive early. The other bands playing are Elliotfuckingsmith, Chaz, and Shakey Bones.

We have been practicing songs from both Colossuses and the brand new album that we will get to recording once my work days become a bit shorter. If you want more info about the show or the upcoming album, email me or I'll post something later.
