My Beats Per Minute Never Been the Same

Tomorrow Conner and I meet to decide if the album is finished. Today was more knob turning and making sure bass frequencies were all agreeable and etc etc, then a pow-wow in the living room with some tracks, head-nodding and a walk around town with the album on headphones. Its sounding magical.

We played 3 shows last weekend with a super all-star line-up: Spencer Owen, John Acquadro, Michael Ulrich and Thor Andersen all joined Conner, Max, Jamie, Libby and I and the shows went fantastically.  Saturday morning we wrote a Soukous song and learned Spencer's spectacular song "A Plan Hatched by Meredith". The songs that we performed were mostly from our new album Coloratura and they were well-received.
My voice was shot after that second show and got way worse after the third show.
Today is the first day I've been able to sing even a little.  Immediately following this I shared a chocolate croissant with Max and my nose has been dripping ever since. So- sicksville.

We may be playing a show this Friday with Goodbye the Band and some touring groups at the Beehive, but only if I can get us horns for the show. You know where the Beehive is and you know what my e-mail is.
It is my name:
Tyler Martin with a dot in between the two names and then at gmail dot com.
Let me know if you're coming so I can bake a cake.

CDs won't be out until about a week after I get the cover art; it might be this week it might be July.
